Salary : $90-120K
Total compensation package value : $115k - $135K
About the Role
A growing design team in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for commercial, healthcare, retail, and institutional projects. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can manage projects from concept through construction, mentor junior staff, and contribute technical expertise in a collaborative, integrated A / E environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead design of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
- Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and ensure NEC / code compliance
- Review submittals, answer RFIs, and coordinate with contractors and consultants
- Collaborate across disciplines with architects, mechanical engineers, and design teams
- Conduct site visits and provide construction administration support
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers
- Manage design deliverables, schedules, and budgets for assigned projects
