HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky.

Shift : 6 : 45PM - 7 : 15AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36
Weekend Hours : Every other weekend
Call Requirements : None
Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH, KY License
Years of Experience : 2+
Float Requirements : Yes – Any Med Surg or PCU

Unit Information :

Number of Beds : 14

Patient Ratios : 4 : 1; 5 : 1 (& specialty teams w / TAVR, MitraClip or Watchman)

Equipment : Phillips Telemetry Monitors; Safeguards; FemStops; TR Bands; TVP

EMR : Cerner

Hiring Profile :

Must Have Skills / Experience : 2 Years Cardiac PCU experience, IV insertion, Telemetry / dysrhythmia / 12 -lead EKG

Preferred Skillset / Experience : PCCN, Pre / Post Cath Lab, Sheath pull experience

Type of Patients on Unit : Cardiac Recovery

Cardiac experience (PCU) or Pre / Post Cath Lab experience; PACU alone will not be approved.

Comfortable caring for a 4-5 intermediate patient team
