Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking an Inpatient Hematologist Oncologist to join our growing faculty in the Division of Cancer Medicine. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive inpatient cancer care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that combines the strengths of Baptist Health with the proven model of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
The Onco-Hospitalist Program
Our onco-hospitalist program is designed to ensure the highest quality of care for hospitalized oncology patients. As an inpatient hematologist oncologist, you will :
Provide care to patients with new cancer diagnoses, hematology / oncology consults, and those receiving inpatient therapy.
Collaborate with a skilled team of oncologists, advanced practice providers, palliative care professionals, and specialists across multiple disciplines.
Manage a diverse range of complex and challenging cases, fostering both professional and academic growth.

This role offers the flexibility of a 7-on / 7-off work schedule, ensuring excellent work-life balance while maintaining continuity of patient care. You will have opportunities for leadership within the Cancer Center, including roles in programmatic development, research, and quality initiatives. Qualified physicians will also be eligible for an adjunct academic appointment at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Requirements
MD or DO
Board eligible or board certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology / Oncology
Active or eligible Florida medical license and DEA registration
Demonstrated record of clinical excellence and teamwork
