About The Position

Job Title : MedSurg Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS required, ACLS preferred

Must-Have :

• Must have 1 year of experience in the specialty with previous travel experience.

Description :

This position requires dedication to patient care in a medical-surgical setting.

The standard nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1 to 6, with a maximum of 1 to 7.

The unit has an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration among nursing staff.

Nurses will receive a pre-orientation packet containing policies and procedures.

Nurses will be tasked with monitoring patients, administering medications, and managing patient care.

Staff will work weekends on an every-other-weekend schedule.

Travelers may need to float to different areas as required.

Nurses will have access to various resources for patient care, including certified staff for IV assistance.

Additional tasks may include working with telemetry, medication administration, and charting.

Experience with drips and basic respiratory care devices is preferred but not required.

Support from pharmacy and respiratory therapy will be available 24 / 7.

Emergency coverage is provided by an in-house physician during shifts.
