We are seeking an Associate Managing Editor / Digital Content Coordintor to support digital publishing projects across eBooks, audiobooks, and related formats. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational, metadata, and project coordination skills who enjoys working across creative, editorial, and production teams. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining accurate title metadata, supporting preorder and release workflows, tracking project status, and preparing reports. The role also includes coordinating with editorial and design partners on audiobook pre-production tasks, retrieving and organizing files, and ensuring digital content remains accurate and up to date across internal systems. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency with editorial tools and basic databases, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with digital publishing processes, metadata systems, or children’s content is a plus. Qualifications : Required : Experience in managing editorial workflows or project coordination. Understanding of publishing or digital product processes. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Reader. Experience with basic databases such as FileMaker Pro, ACT, or similar. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple deadlines. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred : Experience in children’s publishing or familiarity with children’s content formats. Working knowledge of metadata tools or publishing platforms (BiblioSuite experience a plus). Background supporting audiobook, eBook, or digital content production. Prior experience with creative or production request systems.
