Job Title : Accounting Manager

Concept Type : Restaurant Industry

Location : Scottsdale, AZ

Salary : $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Office Setting : Must be comfortable working in a small office setting with no more than 5 people

Job Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Proven accounting experience, ideally within the restaurant or hospitality sectors
  • Strong grasp of financial reporting, payroll processing, accounts payable, and reconciliations
  • Proficiency in accounting and payroll systems, with experience in R365 and / or Paychex Flex being advantageous
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, paired with strong organizational skills

Job Responsibilities :

  • Accurately document business transactions, including sales and accounts payable, to ensure accurate financial statements
  • Oversee the reconciliation, review, audit, and analysis of financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Maintain fixed asset ledgers and databases, ensuring compliance
  • Manage and process payroll for restaurant employees, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Handle company payables, ensuring timely and accurate invoice payments
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide operational support and resolve any issues
