Position : OB / GYN (Board Certified or Board Eligible)Position Highlights- Monitors patient during prenatal, natal and postnatal periods, performs tests and prescribes medications and treatment as necessary. Delivers babies, determining the method most appropriate to ensure health and safety of both infant and mother.In conjunction with the nurse practitioner / or the physician assistant, participates in developing, executing, and periodically reviewing the Clinics written policies and services provided to Federal program patients.Supervise Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant if requested.Knowledge and implementation of community-based, patient-centered medicalhome (PCMH) process with appropriate coordination of care.Serve as preceptor for Medical students and students for Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant programs as requested.The Provider will be required to rotate between all the Health Clinics, as needed and / or indicated by the CEO and / or Medical Director.Average volume of patients : 2K per year or around 150 per month or3-5 deliveries per 24hrs of call.Volume of deliveries : Program has own MFM to assist with high risk and residents and fellows to assist with rounding.Schedule and details of call5-7 calls per monthRobotics privileges available-access to robot at all hospitals and existing block times Work with accomplished Fellowship and ABOG specialty certified MIG surgeons and robotic surgeonsGraduation from an accredited medical school. Extensive knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of a branch of medicine. Considerable professional experience in one or more branches of medicine.Must have license to practice in California, current DEA Certificate and CPR card. Maintain adequate certification updated.
