Outpatient Wound Healing Center Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

The established and growing Wound Healing Center and Hyperbaric Center at UNC Health Pardee is looking for an outpatient Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive health services to patients in collaboration with a licensed physician.

Position Responsibilities :

• Developing treatment plans and implementation for wound care based on individual patient plan of care and diagnosis, including coordination of care between visits
• Assessment and care coordination
• Perform wound care procedures including : debridement techniques, cleansing, dressing, pressure relief, pain control and odor control
• Understands and places importance on patient care / services
