About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of ending the HIV epidemic in the South. The successful candidate will be a visionary and strategic leader, responsible for setting the organization's vision, leading strategic planning, and ensuring the fulfillment of its essential mission. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by marginalized and underserved populations in the region, as well as a strong commitment to equitable HIV / AIDS care, prevention, access, and inclusivity. The Executive Director will manage a team, oversee financial and program operations, and be the primary spokesperson and advocate for the organization. Experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams are essential.

Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of relevant leadership experience, with a preference for those who have a background in HIV, health equity, and / or policy. The role demands a leader with strong organizational, staff management, and external relationship stewardship skills. The ideal candidate will have a history of successful fundraising, including securing large-scale grants from diverse sources, and be adept at building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
