Your Role as a Certified Medical Assistant :

  • Monitor vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
  • Conduct X-ray / imaging services per physician orders and maintain accurate patient charts.
  • Document patient histories using an electronic health record system.
  • Assist with applying splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
  • Support front office operations including patient check-in / check-out and auditing charts.
  • Maintain records of in-house lab work and communication with outside labs.
  • Ensure that patients and visitors are informed about clinic processes.

    • Requirements :

  • A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health records is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
  • State-required General Medical Radiology Technician, Limited Medical Radiology Technician, or Non-Registered Technician license.
  • Preferred : Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
  • BLS Certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Must secure Federal Breath Alcohol and Drug Screening Certifications within 3 months of employment.
