Telemetry RN Job Details

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Location : Liberty, MO 64068 (Kansas City metro area)

Healthcare Setting : Telemetry Unit

Shift : 12-hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend

Holiday Coverage : Required unless requested off

Floating : Yes, as needed to support patient care

Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Telemetry Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Missouri or Compact State (required for Missouri nursing jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

BSN preferred

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities for Telemetry RNs

Monitor and assess patients in the Telemetry unit, delivering high-quality nursing care

Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Float to other hospital units as needed to provide clinical support

Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
