As a Registered Nurse (RN), you're the engine and the heart of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. Join our Same-Day Surgery Unit, which features 13 comfortable surgery beds designed to provide patients with high-quality, efficient care for a variety of procedures. Our team is committed to ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for patients undergoing outpatient surgery, from preoperative assessments to post-procedure recovery.

Nurses in this unit will have the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population across various specialties, helping patients prepare for surgery, monitor their recovery, and ensure they are well-cared for as they head home the same day. You'll work in a dynamic environment where your clinical skills and compassionate care make a direct impact on patients' surgical experiences.

STATUS : Full Time (4-10 hour shifts)

LOCATION : Newark-Wayne Community Hospital

DEPARTMENT : Same Day Surgery Unit

SCHEDULE : Days, every other weekend and every other holiday. Supplemental on-call schedule for weekday nights.

BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
