  • Kaiser plan fully covered for Employee and dependents Optional Life, Long Term Disability, Critical Illness, Identity Theft Protection and Accident Insurance Generous paid time off, including 16 paid holidays which includes the week between Christmas and New Years 2 Floating Holidays (16 hours) 401K Plan with company match up to 6% Position : Director of Human Resources Location : Sacramento, CA 95826 Hours :  Full Time Schedule :  Monday – Friday 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm Compensation : $120,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on experience Job Summary : The Director of Human Resources provides strategic oversight and direction for all employees, culture initiatives, and programs.
  • They will bring expertise in all facets of HR management, and as a passionate and approachable leader, they will foster a strong culture rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with exceptional communication and coaching skills, capable of building trust and rapport with employees and managers at all levels.
  • We seek an organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and can adapt seamlessly to evolving priorities.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership & Culture : Provide long-term HR strategy, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Represent HR on the Leadership Team and champion REDI (Race, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) initiatives.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding :

  • Lead recruitment and hiring efforts, develop onboarding programs, and oversee performance evaluations.
  • Employee Relations :

  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and career development programs that build trust and enhance engagement.
  • Compensation & Benefits :

  • Oversee compensation plans, pay structure revisions, and benefits administration, including 401(k) and open enrollment.
  • Systems & Compliance :

  • Maintain the employee manual, ensure compliance with state and federal laws, manage HR technology systems, and use analytics to inform strategy.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in HR management (non-profit experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA / CFRA, OSHA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).
  • Proven expertise in recruitment, retention, performance evaluation, and organizational development.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and manage multiple priorities.
  • High school diploma or GED required, relevant degree or certifications a plus.
  • Must pass criminal background screening, including education verification and DMV check.
