Position Overview

A leading health system in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified or Eligible Thoracic Surgeon to help build and lead a growing thoracic surgery program . This opportunity is ideal for a motivated surgeon looking to make a lasting impact, with a clear path to a Medical Director role .

Role Highlights

General thoracic surgery (benign & malignant no transplants )

Mix of surgical and clinic work, Monday Friday schedule

DaVinci Xi robot available for minimally invasive procedures

Rotating weekend call

Work alongside 18 pulmonary / critical care physicians and a dedicated tumor board

Full APP and multidisciplinary support

EPIC EMR Level II Trauma Center

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified / Eligible in Thoracic Surgery (within 2 years)

Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery Required

OH medical license or eligibility Required

ACLS, DEA, clean malpractice / license history
