Accountant I

The Accountant I will be responsible for computing, preparing, and reviewing general ledger accounts, journal entries, and various spreadsheets. Responsibilities will include maintaining the financial documents with company accounts such as accounts payable and receivable. This person would work on Month End transactions providing support for the computing and preparing of data for journal entries and general ledger.

What You Will Be Doing

• General ledger analysis
• Accumulates and analyzes information for the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, and reports
• Daily, monthly, and yearly reconciliations and journal entries
• Verifies accuracy and makes recommendations for corrections
• Ensures the compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, GAAP, and FASB
