Job Title : PLC Maintenance Technician

1st shift, Direct Hire, $35-$45 / hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PLC Maintenance Technician capable of troubleshooting and performing industrial and electrical repairs on machines. The facility includes a three-year-old extrusion machine, presses, and CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery with a focus on electrical systems.
• Rewire 3-phase 480V motors and work with relays.
• Utilize PLC knowledge, particularly in ladder logic, for minor edits and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of pH monitors, voltage, and conductivity meters.
• Replace and set parameters for Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Conduct troubleshooting repairs on paint lines.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks, including using welding equipment, saws, drills, and fabricating components.
• Work as a multi-craft technician with strong electrical knowledge.

Work Environment

This is a 1st shift position from 7 am to 3 pm with overtime available as needed, averaging 50 hours per week. The work environment is a high-speed manufacturing facility that can be very dirty, loud, and hot in the summers, and cold in the winters. The facility houses extrusion equipment that increases the ambient temperature.
