Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Wound / Ostomy Care travel assignment requiring recent Med / Surg experience and active BLS certification.

Job Details

  • Position is based in a hospital setting with a focus on wound and ostomy care,
  • 12-hour shifts from 9 : 00 AM to 9 : 30 PM,
  • 36 hours per week, with both travel and local candidates eligible for the same rate,

Job Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of assignment,
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program,
  • At least 1 year of full-time wound / ostomy care experience within the last 3 years,
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field preferred,
  • CWOCN or CWCN certification preferred,

    • Additional Information

  • Must provide two professional references for consideration,
  • COVID vaccination is required,
  • No minimum distance radius rule applies; local and travel rates are identical,
  • A minimum 6 months must have passed since any previous permanent employment with the health system,
  • Assignment extensions are permitted, with a maximum duration of 12 months to avoid tax issues,
