Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking skilled Emergency Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in a rural hospital setting in Fayetteville, TN—just 45 minutes north of Huntsville, AL.

This assignment is ideal for physicians looking to practice in a low-volume, single-coverage ED environment with robust Hospitalist support for admissions and manageable patient volumes.

Annual ED Volume : 16,331 visits

ED Beds : 9 (within a 49-licensed-bed facility, 24 staffed beds)

Patients per Hour : ~1.5

Trauma Designation : Non-Trauma Center

EMR System : T-System

Admitting Orders : Managed by Hospitalist Team

Schedule & Coverage

Shifts per Month : 8–10 shifts preferred

Shift Times :

Days : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (Single MD Coverage)

Nights : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (Single MD Coverage)

APC Support : 10 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 PM (10 hours daily)

Shift Flexibility : Days, Nights, and Swing Shifts Considered

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Family Medicine (ABFM), or Internal Medicine (ABIM)

Required : 5 Years of Recent Emergency Medicine Experience (Case Logs Required)

Active Tennessee Medical License & DEA (Clean File Preferred for Expedited Privileges)

Certifications : ACLS & PALS Required

Must be comfortable with standard ED procedures
