Job descriptionBoard-certified / eligible in emergency medicine Authorized to work in the United States Full-time commitment as an independent contractor requires 120 hours per month Provide care at Aiken Regional Medical Center, a 273-bed community hospital with a 30-bed emergency department, certified as a chest pain and stroke center Volume : 43K annual visits with 39 hours of daily physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage Deliver emergency care at The ER at Sweetwater, a 10-bed freestanding emergency department in North Augusta, GA Volume : 23K annual visits with 24 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of APP coverage daily Engage in teaching opportunities with APP students and internal / family medicine residents Enjoy the charm of Aiken, South Carolina—known for its southern hospitality, vibrant equestrian scene, and beautiful landscapes. - Join a friendly, collaborative emergency medicine team of 16 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers (APPs).
- Enjoy strong partnerships across the hospital, including a solid working relationship with Sound’s hospitalist program .
