Holiday rotation
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift.
Student Loan Forgiveness : Up to $20,000.

Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you'll care for a diverse and complex patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients suffering from hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program .A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases .Be part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , where you will gain exposure to the latest in neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge patient care.

Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care utilizing the nursing process.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care.Apply clinical judgment and skilled communication to support optimal patient outcomes.Contribute to a positive patient experience throughout the continuum of care.Why Join Us?

Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate effectiveness.Recognize significant changes in patient conditions and modify care plans accordingly.Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and assess readiness for learning.Coordinate discharge planning using an interdisciplinary approach and apply evidence-based practices.Evaluate patient and team outcomes and engage in shared governance initiatives.Exhibit effective communication and collaboration skills.Support a culture of safety by identifying and addressing threats to patient welfare.Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to professional development.Demonstrate knowledge of patients' age-specific needs throughout the care process.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited nursing program.Experience Required :
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
Ability to provide holistic patient care and adapt to clinical situations.Proficient in electronic medical record systems and excellent communication skills.Strong problem-solving, organization, and time management abilities.Capability to work collaboratively and take initiative in care management.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
