Job Summary

We are hiring a Safety Officer to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance during pipeline system installations and other on-site engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting safety audits, training workers on safety procedures, and promoting a safety-first culture. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.

Expected start date : September 1, 2025

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site safety inspections and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local safety regulations
• Lead toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and periodic training for workers
• Investigate incidents, document findings, and propose corrective actions
• Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and safety records
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop site-specific safety plans
• Support the use and proper storage of PPE, hazardous materials, and safety signage
• Provide bilingual (EN / CH) communication to ensure safety understanding among all team members

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of safety-related experience in construction, manufacturing, or engineering settings
• Familiarity with OSHA standards, job hazard analysis, and PPE protocols
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin
• First Aid, CPR, OSHA 30 certification is a plus
• Able to work independently, communicate clearly, and handle urgent safety situations
