Job description

Remote Senior Sales Representative

Medtronic is seeking a dynamic and motivated Remote Senior Sales Representative to join our Cardiovascular Portfolio. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with a passion for improving patient outcomes through innovative medical technologies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence.

Responsibilities include :

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory, leveraging remote communication methods.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through effective account management and exceptional customer service, primarily using email, phone calls, video messaging, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and drive revenue growth through remote engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs and enhance patient care.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position Medtronic's Cardiovascular Portfolio products.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to healthcare professionals and decision-makers using virtual communication platforms.

Must have :

  • Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through education combined with extensive sales experience.
  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and expert level knowledge of company products and services.
  • Nice to have :

  • Remote sales experience in the healthcare or medical field is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular products and procedures is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas, demonstrating strong sales performance.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, with a focus on building and nurturing customer relationships.
  • Experience in account management, with a focus on building and nurturing customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage customer data and sales activities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and strong organizational skills.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $57,000.00 $90,000.00 U.S. Pay Transparency (for SIP, Commission, Hourly Direct, Interns, Executives) In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week : Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance / reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program). The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees : Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums). Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
