EUCOM RADAR and HVAC Field Service

Description

Leidos' Defense Systems Persistent Surveillance is seeking an EUCOM RADAR and HVAC Field Service Representative to join our team of diverse, highly skilled personnel to create unique solutions for complex problems involving radar systems.

The field service representative will perform maintenance / repairs / installations on radar systems and their HVAC systems deployed in the CENTCOM / EUCOM / PACOM regions. While performing these duties the FSR is frequently required to bend, crawl, sit, climb ladders, and work in secured areas and military bases around the globe. The FSR may also lift and move materials up to 60 pounds and more than 60 pounds using appropriate lifting equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

The FSR will operate and perform regular maintenance on radar systems and their HVAC units in the CENTCOM, EUCOM, and PACOM regions

The FSR must be willing to relocate to the EUCOM region and travel often between CENTCOM, EUCOM, and PACOM with little notice

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 4-8 years recent relevant experience or HighSchool diploma and minimum of 12 years recent relevant experience .

Must be willing to relocate to the primary location in Germany / Europe

Skilled with maintenance, repair and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems; including HVAC systems and engines

Must hold or be willing to hold a certification for an EPA HVAC Technician

Must hold or be willing to hold a CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, or similar network certification

Good communication skills and ability to integrate into a team atmosphere, as well able to work independently without clear direction.

Able to work independently without clear direction, knows when to ask for help, and can process directions clearly

Willing to travel up to 75% of the time on short notice.

Must have an active passport and Driver's ID

Must be a US citizen, possess (and be able to maintain) a final Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using LINUX based operating systems

Section 608 EPA HVAC systems and generators

Prior military experience will be considered

Pay Range :

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
