Hourly Pay Range : $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights : Position : RN - Emergency DepartmentLocation : Elmhurst Main HospitalPart Time : 24 hours / weekHours : Nights 7 : 00pm-7 : 00am with every third weekends and rotating holidays What you will need : Preferred Education, Skills and / or Experience : Bachelor's Degree or higher in NursingRequired Education, Skills and / or Experience : Requires 1+ years' experience in the emergency department unitAssociate Degree or higher in Nursing If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.Required License and / or Certification : Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensureCurrent CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red CrossAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within three months of start date into positionPediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date into positionStroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within three months of start date into position What you will do : Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients' progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
