Position Summary :
As a Stylist you are responsible for providing excellent client experiences, performing quality blowouts, and following Stylist service standards. We also expect our Stylists to contribute to the success of the team and the shop.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform client consultationsShampooing, blow-drying, and styling a client's hairClient product educationRecommend product, tools, and memberships to clientsCompleting shop side work; including but not limited to cleaning, sweeping, inventory, dishes, and re-stocking product shelvesMeet scheduling requirementsConsistent performance of responsibilitiesAttend any mandatory shop meetingsBuild a positive and trusting relationship with members and guestsOther Responsibilities / Supportive Functions :
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions :
Regular attendance in conformance with our standardsDue to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs including weekends, holidays, etc.Maintain cleanliness of the Drybar and equipmentResearch new techniques and trendsQualifications
Qualifications (relevant experience, education and training) :

Functional Skills & LearningHas the functional and technical knowledge and skills to perform a blowout to Drybar standards. Open to receiving constructive feedback, coaching and is excited to learn.Creativity & TroubleshootingComes up with new and unique ways to give a Drybar style on all hair types and lengths. Adjusts styling techniques for a diverse clientele with a wide range of personal preferences.Qualifications (relevant experience, education, and training) Continued :
Valid cosmetology license for the state in which you are workingConsistently perform styles to Drybar's standardsCommunicate well with clients and team membersDesire to provide outstanding customer service to clientsAble to contribute and work well in a team environmentOpen to learning and receiving feedback from clients and shop leadersSpecial Skills & Abilities / Mental and Physical Demands :
Standing, walking, and using hands, wrists, and arms for up to 8 hoursLifting up to 15 poundsFrequently stands, bends, stoops, twist and turn for prolonged periods of time.Frequently grasps objects like blow dryers and other hair tools / equipmentFrequently reaches by extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any directionRegularly talks when communicating with members & guestsComfortable using hot tools and hair productsProductive working in a fast paced, noisy environmentChemical exposure limited to BarbicideEquipment and tools used are Blowdryer (Weighs one pound and one ounce, assorted hot tools, brushes, clips and rollers
