Norton Community Medical Associates,  the primary care practice arm of Norton Medical Group, is recruiting for primary care physicians to join its team of over 400 medical providers specializing in family medicine, internal medicine, internal medicine / pediatrics and urgent care.

We currently are recruiting for physicians in the following areas :

West End Primary Care Services

Norton Healthcare has recently opened a hospital in West Louisville, the first hospital to be built in the historically underserved area in more than 150 years. The new Norton West Louisville Hospital is part of the Norton Healthcare Goodwill Opportunity Campus, and brings care and services to address the needs of those who live in the area including banking, career counseling, a barber shop and community event space. Norton Healthcare believes that health equity should be at the foundation of our community. Every person, in every neighborhood, should have the same opportunities to get the health care they deserve. To support the hospital campus, Norton Community Medical Associates expanded its existing West Broadway primary care practice and opened a new primary care practice on the campus. We are recruiting for additional providers who have an interest in serving in an urban community and reducing health care disparities.

East End Primary Care Locations

The Norton Community Medical Associates practices located in the East End of Louisville are looking to add additional providers. Practices include close access to an immediate care center, full-service laboratory and radiology services. They support a growing patient population and are conveniently located in an area with great school systems, neighborhoods and popular restaurants and shopping.

Southern Indiana Primary Care Locations

Norton Healthcare has growing primary care locations in Clarksville and Jeffersonville, located right across the river from Louisville in Indiana. These charming small-town communities offer the benefits of living outside a metropolitan city, but downtown Louisville is only 20 minutes away. Additional Indiana locations in Madison and Scottsburg offer the opportunity to practice in a rural setting.

About the Positions

• 60,000 sign-on bonus in addition to a $100,000 recruitment incentive for residents or a $60,000 retention bonus for experienced candidates
• Full-time schedules of four days a week or part-time in outpatient-only setting
• Hospitalist coverage for patients is available through more than 90 physicians and more than 30 advanced practice employed providers
• Continuing medical education (CME) opportunities within Norton Healthcare and funds available for additional CME
• Norton Medical Group provides support staff in each office with a multifunctional team, led by a practice manager, to handle day-to-day operations, including billing, coding, recruiting, information services and more, allowing physicians to focus on patient care
• Recognized by National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Patient-Centered Medical Home

Requirements for the positions

• Medical degree / diploma
• Residency / fellowship certification
• Kentucky medical license or license eligible
