We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our inpatient services team in a vibrant regional healthcare setting in the Midwest. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring each patient receives personalized and professional nursing support.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to assigned patients with attention to physical, psychological, spiritual, and social needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments upon admission and establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized interdisciplinary care plans in collaboration with physicians, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Continuously reassess patient status and document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately.
- Administer medications and IV therapy safely, maintaining precise documentation.
- Educate patients and their families about disease processes and treatment plans in an understandable manner.
- Effectively organize workload to ensure timely and efficient patient care delivery.
- Communicate critical patient information promptly to the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain reliable attendance and meet the physical demands of the role.
Education and Certification
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's degree or higher in Nursing or a related field.Current licensure as a Registered Nurse authorized to practice in the relevant state.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) according to American Heart Association standards.Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.Experience and Qualifications
