Internship Opportunity With RTX Corporate Internal Controls

Join RTX's Corporate Internal Controls Team as an intern and play a key role in strengthening the foundation of a global aerospace and defense leader. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in internal controls and risk management, contributing to the integrity and success of an international organization that connects and protects the world.

What You Will Do

  • Support the annual entity-level (COSO) controls review by updating documentation and performing controls testing
  • Support the Company's operating effectiveness assessment by performing internal controls testing
  • Help create and maintain process narratives, walkthroughs, and flowcharts that outline key processes and controls that mitigate financial reporting risks
  • Participate in special projects, conduct research, and support other controls related assignments as needed
  • Opportunity to present to senior leadership

What You Will Learn

  • Qualifications You Must Have

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates must not graduate prior August 2026.
  • 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office.

    Candidates must be located in and willing to work in a hybrid capacity from RTX hub in Farmington, CT.

    The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
