Inside Sales Representative

Pride Products is one of the largest importers and distributors of general merchandise in New York. For more than 35 years we have supplied over 5,000 consumer products to 99 cent stores, discount stores, pharmacies, supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide in categories such as Health & Beauty, paper & plastic disposables, housewares, stationary, hardware, seasonal and food. We offer an extensive catalog, and live website.

We are currently looking fill an open position in our inside sales department. The candidate should be an energetic and dependable team player who is motivated to sell. This person should be able to work from our corporate office located in Ronkonkoma, NY (next to MacArthur Airport) Monday thru Friday with a schedule of either 9 : 00-am-5 : 00 pm

General duties will include but not be limited to the following :

• Make calls to your existing customers to assist with taking their orders and upselling.
• Offer current and newly arrived products to customers and prospective customers.
• Respond to internet sales inquiries from your new and or established customers.
• Perform customer service related functions.
• Maintain and expand existing customer base, identify new prospects and promote repeat business.
• Seek out new business to expand existent customer base.

This is a full-time position Monday through Friday 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00pm or 9 : 30 am – 5 : 30 pm.
