Base pay range

160,000.00 / yr - $175,000.00 / yr

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Tax Manager . This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned tax professional with a strong background in public accounting, trust and estate taxation, and high-net-worth individual tax planning. The Tax Manager will oversee complex tax engagements, mentor staff, and ensure the highest level of client service.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage multiple tax engagements for individuals, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses.
Provide strategic tax planning and compliance services for high-net-worth individuals and families.
Review complex tax returns, including federal and multi-state filings for individuals, trusts, and estates.
Advise clients on estate planning strategies, wealth transfer, and fiduciary responsibilities.
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on tax matters.
Stay current on tax law changes and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Assist with business development efforts and contribute to the firms growth strategy.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Active CPA license required.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.

At least 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.

Extensive experience with trust and estate taxation.

Proven expertise in serving high-net-worth individuals and families.

Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax laws.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
