Job description

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and assures the implementation of cyber security policies and procedures, conducts investigations of incidents involving cyber security issues.
  • Plans and coordinates the access controls to allow authorized personnel or visitors access to restricted electronic records, materials, or areas.
  • Plans, develops, coordinates, and presents cyber security awareness training and education for cyber security operations, evaluates training program effectiveness, conducts job task analysis, security audits, surveys, and special studies.
  • Develops written documentation of Cyber Security, Telecommunications Security, and local procedures.
  • Coordinates with DOE to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations and orders.
  • Represents team in meetings with interna / external customer base.
  • Recommends and / or implements policies and procedures in support of management objectives.
  • Develops and facilitates communications which may include processing and distribution of information through communications services.

You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, InformationSystems, a related discipline, or two (2) additional years of direct work experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a cyber security environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to work primarily on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • United States Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain, a . Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
  • We Value

  • Knowledge of NIST special publications (FIPS 199, 200, 800-82,800-53, 800-37) and the certification and accreditation process.
  • Experience with Operational Technology (OT) Systems.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management and employees.
  • Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
