Location : Washington, DC 20010 (Washington DC healthcare jobs)

Facility Setting : Hospital – Perinatal Center

Start Date : November 25, 2025

End Date : February 24, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Days, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (07 : 30 – 16 : 00)

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2040–$2190

Charting System : Cerner

Parking : Available (cost applies)

Ultrasound Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech, with focus on Maternal Fetal Medicine, High Risk OB, or Obstetric Sonography

Current ARDMS OB / GYN certification required

Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification required (strong NT scan experience considered)

Proficient in Nuchal Translucency screening, Adult Ultrasound, High Risk OB, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Obstetric imaging

Experience with amniocentesis and GE anatomy scans preferred

Valid DC state license (must be active by start date; pending accepted for select units)

Two supervisor references required

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

First-time travel Ultrasound Techs welcome!

Ultrasound Tech Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for OB patients, including high-risk pregnancies and fetal abnormalities

Conduct Nuchal Translucency screening and specialized maternal fetal medicine scans

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced Perinatal Center

Accurately document findings using Cerner charting system

Deliver compassionate patient care and clear communication to patients and families

Participate in orientation and required healthcare training modules
