Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart (NCDS) invites a visionary and mission‑driven educator to serve as its next Head of Middle School, beginning July 1, 2026.

Rooted in the 220‑plus‑year tradition of Sacred Heart education, Newton Country Day empowers girls in Grades 5–12 to act with courage, confidence, and compassion. Guided by the Five Goals of Sacred Heart Schools, with an emphasis on faith, intellectual values, social awareness, community, and wise freedom, the Newton Country Day School program inspires young women to think critically, lead with integrity, and respond generously to the needs of the world.

The next Head of Middle School will join a vibrant and joyful community where learning is both rigorous and relational, and where each girl is truly known, challenged, and celebrated. Overseeing Grades 5–8, this leader will cultivate a dynamic academic program, foster belonging and curiosity, and nurture the Courage and Confidence that define an NCDS graduate.
