Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - school based, in person

Job Description

RCM is looking for full or part time school based SLPs to provide therapy services to school students in and around the Romulus, MI area for the full school year. W2 contract with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan certification as a teacher of the speech and language impaired preferred.
• SB endorsement and / or Clinical Competence Certificate required
• An earned master's degree in speech and language pathology.
• A minimum of sixty (60) semester hours of academic credit in normal aspects of human communication, development, and clinical techniques for evaluation and management of speech and language disorders as described in State rule R340.1796.
• A minimum of 300 clock hours of supervised practicum experience with persons who present a variety of communication disorders.
• Early Childhood or Elementary education certification preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in assessment and treatment of articulation, language, voice, and fluency impairment.
• Willingness to learn in district-specific strategies related to language acquisition skills.
