Senior Project Controls Analyst (Palo Alto)

Job Summary

xLight is seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules, cost baselines, and earned value metrics for complex engineering and manufacturing projects. This role supports Project Management, Engineering, and Finance functions by ensuring accurate performance measurement, schedule integrity, and actionable insight into project health.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned scheduling and EVMS professional with extensive experience using Primavera P6 , Microsoft Project , and EVMS-compliant control processes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, integrate, and maintain resource-loaded schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project .
• Ensure schedules are networked logically with appropriate dependencies, constraints, calendars, and critical path analysis.
• Support schedule baseline development, change control, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to capture accurate activity durations and resource needs.
