Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg / Telemetry

Position Overview

365 Healthcare is hiring a skilled Med Surg / Telemetry RN for a day shift travel contract in Waterloo, Iowa . This is an excellent opportunity to work with a strong interdisciplinary team while providing patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Assignment Details

Shift : Days | 3×12-hour shifts | 36 hrs / week
Schedule : Every other weekend including holiday rotation
On Call : None
Floating : Behavioral Health, ED, ICU, and post-procedural areas
Start Date : December 10, 2025

Compensation & Premiums

Weekly Gross : $2,448

Taxable Base : $1,202 / week ($33.39 / hr W-2 base)

Stipend : $1,246 / week

Overtime (OT) : $50 / hr

Callback Pay : $66 / hr

⚙ Unit Details

Bed Size : 130

Ratios : 1 : 6

Drips : Heparin, Insulin, Lasix, Amiodarone, Diltiazem, Digoxin

Telemetry : Rhythm strip and dysrhythmia interpretation required

Training : Two-day cardiac dysrhythmia course (must pass test)

EMR : EPIC

Requirements

Experience : 2+ years in Med Surg / Tele; 1st-time travelers accepted with 3+ years total RN experience

Must be able to confidently read EKG / ECG and manage telemetry

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS, NIHSS, and De-escalation (CPI, MOAB, or MAB)

License : Active Iowa or Compact RN license
