Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Opportunity near Mount Pleasant, SC

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) near Mount Pleasant, SC. This permanent full-time position offers the chance to work alongside a team of experienced cardiothoracic surgeons in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment.

Position Overview :

Role : Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant
Employment Type : Full-Time
Specialization : Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery

Key Responsibilities :

Experience Required : At least 2 years of experience with routine heart and thoracic surgery procedures is essential.

Skills : Experience in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) and first assist in surgery is required.

Patient Care : Responsibilities include daily rounding on patients pre and post-operatively and conducting follow-up assessments in the clinic.

Procedures : Exposure to minimally invasive procedures is a plus.

Call Schedule : Expected call schedule of 1 : 3, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.

Qualifications :

Experience : Must have a solid background in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, with hands-on experience in all routine procedures.

Skills : Proficiency in EVH and first assisting in surgeries is required.

Patient Management : Understanding of clinic follow-ups and post-operative outpatient care is necessary.

Certification : Relevant certifications and licensure are required.
