Job Purpose
The Field Engineer Intern role provides hands-on experience on active heavy civil construction projects. Interns gain exposure to core functions including project management, safety, estimating, quality control, and surveying. Working alongside both field and office teams, the intern will develop a practical understanding of how complex civil projects are planned, coordinated, and built.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management : Assist with scheduling, coordination, quantity tracking, etc.
Qualifications
Working Conditions
Work will be performed in field offices and on active construction sites.
Start time dependent on project hours - May require occasional nights and weekend work.
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk construction sites and navigate uneven terrain.
Occasionally lift / move up to 25+ pounds.
Visual acuity for reading plans and performing site inspections.
