A Busy Hospital and ASC is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

About the Facility Location

The facility is located in Manassas, VA.

About the Clinician's Workday

Shifts are 12 hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Lodging and housing stipend is $110 per day, and car rental or mileage stipend is $250 per week. Providers should be comfortable providing both OB care and doing blocks. This is a bread-and-butter anesthesia position, and those experienced with regional anesthesia can perform blocks with Ortho cases. Case types include Endo, Healthy Peds, Ortho, Podiatry, Vascular, Bariatrics, OB, GYN, Urology, and NORA (Cath Lab, IR, and MRI). OB and Ortho are included if the provider is comfortable. No Neuro or complex Heads. Healthy Peds dental cases are available if desired. MDs perform their own cases and provide supervision as needed, typically in the OR or assigned to L&D. Overtime is not anticipated but may occur. Call is optional, with a current focus on daytime coverage. Charting is electronic using Epic. The privileging timeframe is 90 days but can be expedited if needed.
