Description As a Licensed Physical Therapist , you will : - Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient contexts while crafting customized treatment plans. - Employ physical therapy techniques focused on mobility, strength enhancement, balance improvement, and functional restoration. - Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehab professionals to maximize patient outcomes. - Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise protocols. - Meticulously document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress adhering to facility guidelines and regulations. - Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and forums to facilitate coordinated care among team members. Education Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent accredited degree. Certifications Current state licensure as a Licensed Physical Therapist . - Preferred CPR certification. - Specialized certifications, like neurological or geriatric, are advantageous but not mandatory. Skills Previous experience is strongly preferred in this hands-on role. - Capable of treating patients with complex medical histories and mobility challenges. - Excellent communication and collaborative skills are essential. - Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems is required.
