Job Summary :

Royal Park Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Laundry Aide that is responsible for the daily preparation and quality control of linen distributed.

Essential Functions :

• Follows written policies and procedures of the Laundry Department
• Linen sorting, washing, folding
• Observes infection control standards in the handling of linens and clothing.
• Sorts and washes soiled linens.
• Hangs or lays out garments
• Folds, counts, and stacks linen
• Presses or hand irons articles as required.
• Inspects linen for wear and tear.
• Care and use of equipment and supplies, and cleanliness of work area.
• Operates washers and dryers
• Cleans dryer lint traps.
