Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist for a high-engagement locum tenens assignment in Danville, Virginia . This role blends daytime supervision with independent OR call coverage at night , supported by a strong CRNA team and predictable daily workflows.

• Credentialing : Temps in 15 days with clean file

Schedule & Call Structure

Day Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM

Call : Required every day

MD is 1st call for OR

MD is backup call for OB

CRNA provides in-house OB call

Weekends : Every other weekend required

Model :

Days : Supervision of CRNAs

Nights : MD performs own OR cases

1 Anesthesiologist (solo MD model)

6 CRNAs

Obstetrics (backup only — CRNA handles primary OB call)

Regional Skills :

Spinals

Epidurals

Ultrasound-guided regional blocks

Procedures : Full-scope general anesthesia + regional

EMR : MediTech (training included)

Candidate Requirements

ABA Board Certified

Active & Unrestricted Virginia License

ACLS / BLS (AHA Required)

Clean background for temporary privileges

Recent case logs showing regional proficiency

Comfortable working independently overnight

Comfortable supervising CRNAs during the day
