Dietary Technician

Dietary Technician at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Part-time and will work 8-hour, Day shift.

Assists patients on modified diets with menu selections, corrects, edits, and tallies menus. Performs nutritional assessment, reassessment, and education for patients / residents at low to potential nutritional risk as directed by the Clinical Dietitian.

Required Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training : Graduate of a dietetic technician program. Or
• Bachelor's Degree
• National CDR Dietetic / Nutritionist Technician Registered - Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months of Food service experience or school supervised student work program.
• General experience of word processing equipment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Supervisory experience.
