Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,018 per week in Charlottesville, VA

Job Title : Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Emergency Room Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 2 years in ER with at least 1 year in a Level 1 Trauma Center or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma Center, including some pediatric experience. License : State License required; pending licenses accepted but must have license in hand before start date. Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required; can submit with TNCC pending but must have before start. Must-Have : Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center experience, pediatric experience, Epic charting experience. Description : We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Emergency Room Registered Nurse. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of ER experience. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma Center. Experience with pediatric patients is necessary, though it does not need to be in a dedicated pediatric ER. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC are required. Candidates can include an application with a pending TNCC certification, but must have it completed prior to starting. The position involves working 12-hour night shifts. Patient ratios are typically 4-5 per nurse during days and nights. Candidates must be willing to float within their scope of practice. This unit sees a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 165 with 71 available beds.
