Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Physician Opportunity in Fort Worth, TX

Cook Children's Medical Center and Healthcare System, based in Fort Worth, TX, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Pediatric Neuro-Oncologist to join our growing Hematology and Oncology Center as a member of the Neuro-Oncology Program. Our brain tumor team sees 110-130 new diagnosis per year. Not only do we have a robust clinical program, we are also equally strong on the research front. Our center is an active member of Children's Oncology Group (COG) and has active collaborations with multiple academic institutions, Phase I consortiums and pharmaceutical companies. Our division consists of 21 physicians and 14 advanced practice providers throughout our Neuro-Oncology, Oncology, Neuroblastoma, Stem Cell Transplant, Hematology and Stroke / Thrombosis Teams. Currently, our providers see over 280 new cancer cases annually. We work closely with multi-disciplinary staff and oversee several subspecialty programs. We have a very active outpatient practice and serve an expansive referral area including the Fort Worth Metro area, North Texas as well as East, Central and West Texas and the surrounding states.  We are seeking a dedicated BC / BE Pediatric Hematologist / Oncologist with an interest in Neuro-Oncology. This person should either be Neuro-Oncology fellowship trained or has several years of working experience in this field. Minimum Qualifications

Successful candidates will have completed an accredited pediatric specialty training program and be board certified / board eligible in Pediatric Hematology / Oncology. Must be qualified to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License before commencing employment.

This person should either be Neuro-Oncology fellowship trained or has several years of working experience in this field.
