How you'll create opportunities in this Manager / Director - National Exempt Tax role : Serve tax exempt clients in the Healthcare, Higher Ed, and Nonprofit industries in a high impact manner, demonstrating command of a major area of specialization. Demonstrate deep technical skills and have the above related industry knowledge. Excel at engagement management and operational excellence. Assist clients with meeting their tax and day to day compliance needs. Research and draft technical tax memoranda on various tax issues for clients. Review and sign a variety of exempt organization returns and serve as a subject matter expert when appropriate. Develop and mentor staff and oversee client engagement teams. What you will need : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with public accounting and / or professional services firm Experience specializing in tax exempt organizations preferred CPA required (JD or Enrolled Agent (EA) may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification) The wage range for this position is : $118,000 - $224,000 Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range. #LI-MM1 Equal Opportunity Employer / Protected Veterans / Individuals with Disabilities Click here to learn about your hiring rights.
