The Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative III - Floater (PSR III) serves as the frontline representative of the company, providing exceptional care and accurate specimen collection for patients across multiple service locations. The PSR III demonstrates leadership, process excellence, and superior phlebotomy skills , ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered collection and processing of samples. This role supports multiple sites, adapting to variable patient volumes while maintaining professionalism and compliance with all safety and confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection duties with accuracy, safety, and efficiency.Maintain compliance with established clinical and forensic collection procedures .Verify patient identity and sample labeling to ensure integrity and traceability.Perform required documentation, recordkeeping, and data entry.Provide coverage and leadership support at multiple Patient Service Centers (PSC) or In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) sites.Uphold a professional image and promote a positive experience for patients, clients, and colleagues.Travel between locations as required, maintaining schedule flexibility.Adhere to all company policies, including Employee Health & Safety , dress code, and standard operating procedures.Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume work environment while ensuring accuracy.Demonstrate superior customer focus , teamwork, and effective communication.Required Experience :
3 years of phlebotomy experience , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center or healthcare environment preferred.Customer service experience in healthcare, retail, or related settings preferred.Data entry and computer proficiency required.Education & Certification :
High school diploma or equivalent required.Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).Required Skills :
