About The Position
Medix, in partnership with a leading healthcare client, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer for a travel assignment in the Denver, Colorado area. This is a unique opportunity to work autonomously within an outpatient / primary care setting, supporting the diagnostic needs of a geriatric patient population.
The clinician filling this role will be responsible for traveling between multiple local clinic sites (Delmar, Englewood, Arvada, and Lakewood) with portable equipment, providing essential diagnostic services.
Location : Denver, Colorado (multiple sites : Aurora, Englewood, Arvada, Lakewood)

Length of Assignment : 13 weeks
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (40 hours per week)
S tate License Needed : RDCS or RCS
Pay : Compensation packages, including competitive hourly rates and potential stipends, will be thoroughly discussed with your Medix Recruiter.
Responsibilities and Day-to-Day Duties
Perform high-quality, comprehensive echocardiographic exams using 2-D imaging, M-Mode, Continuous Wave (CW), Pulsed Wave (PW), and Color Flow Doppler techniques.
Conduct full-on cardiac echo screenings, without shortcuts, with the primary goal of looking for evidence of structural heart disease and differentiating to find Stage B heart failure before progression.
Manage a patient volume of approximately 6 echocardiograms per day (with an allotted time of about 1.5 hours per patient).
Operate and maintain the Mindrate M93 imaging equipment.
Utilize eClinical Works for Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation.
Perform duties in an autonomous role , taking ownership of the daily schedule and responsibilities.
Note : While not required, experience in vascular ultrasound (specifically abdominal aortic ultrasound) is a plus, though AAA studies would not be performed without a vascular credential.

Job Requirements
Licensure : Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer ( RDCS ) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer ( RCS ).
A minimum of 1 year of professional experience performing echocardiograms.
Ability to travel between clinic sites within the Denver area and transport necessary equipment.
Commitment to providing excellent care for a geriatric patient population .
