IDIQ Task Lead

TASK LEAD Location :

• Varies by Task Order | Type : Full-Time | Clearance : As required by individual Task Order (typically TS / SCI) Note : This position is contingent upon contract award Overview DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a qualified Task Lead to oversee the execution and day-to-day management of individual Task Orders under the Special Operations Forces Global Services Delivery (SOFGSD) contract in support of USSOCOM.
• The Task Lead serves as the primary point of contact for task order performance, ensuring all technical, operational, and administrative objectives are met.
• This role requires a strong background in Special Operations or defense environments, with proven leadership, program execution, and communication skills to maintain mission success across dynamic operational requirements.
• Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary interface between the contractor team and the Government’s Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for all task order activities.
• Direct and supervise contractor personnel assigned to the task order, ensuring high-quality deliverables and mission alignment.
• Oversee task order execution, including schedule, cost, and technical performance, ensuring compliance with all contract and USSOCOM standards.
• Implement task-level quality assurance and performance monitoring to maintain operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate across cross-functional and subcontractor teams to synchronize operational and technical support activities.
• Develop and deliver periodic performance reports, risk assessments, and metrics to the IDIQ Program Manager and COR.
• Ensure all personnel adhere to USSOCOM directives, policies, and mission-specific operational requirements.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development to team members supporting assigned tasks.
