Job Title : Mammography Technologist

Locations : Denver, CO

Duration : 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)

Shift : All shifts 7;30 am – 6;15 pm; Two-week rotation at multiple clinics in northern Colorado

Rate : Best in market

Pay Range : $55 - $65 / hr. on W2

Job Responsibilities :

• Mammography procedures : Perform routine and diagnostic mammography, including special procedures like biopsies, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Image acquisition : Operate dedicated mammography equipment, select appropriate technical factors, and position patients to produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Image critique : Independently critique images to identify normal from abnormal tissue and take additional views as needed.
• Demonstrated collaborative / team-oriented work style.
• Demonstrated strong clinical knowledge base and judgment, preferably in ambulatory care setting.
• Ability to analyze, integrate, and use quantitative data / information in making business decisions and problem solving
• Patient care :
• Provide patient education about the procedure.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
• Document patient assessment, history, and any necessary consent forms.
• Apply knowledge of age-specific patient needs, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
